Who we are

Mendwell Home Repairs runs this website and its app. This policy explains what we do with the personal information you give us when you book a job, create an account or contact us.

What we keep

• Your name, e-mail address and mobile number, to confirm and manage your bookings.
• The address of a job at your address, and the notes you add, so the person doing the job can find you and prepare.
• Your bookings, and the records of payments and refunds. Card details are handled by the payment provider; we do not store them.
• The messages you send us through the contact page.

Why we use it

To book, carry out and charge for your jobs; to send you the messages about them — confirmations, reminders and changes; and to keep the records the law requires. We do not send you marketing messages.

How long we keep it

The address of a job at your address is erased 365 days after the job ends. When you delete your account, the deletion completes 14 days after you ask, or earlier; we keep only issued invoices and payment and refund records, as tax or accounting law may require.

Who sees it

The members of our team who do or arrange your job, and the providers we use to run the website and send messages and payments, only to provide their service to us.

Your choices

On the page Privacy and my data you can download your information and stop reminders. You can delete your account at any time on the page Delete my account.

Cookies

The website needs a few cookies to keep you signed in and to protect its forms. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. If the contact page shows a map, the map comes from Google, whose own terms and privacy policy apply.
